I have my pc hooked to my tv and I have found the Fit to Width option in Opera very useful when surfing the net on my tv (and watching online videos and such). I have been looking for an add-on for Firefox with this same functionality but have been unsuccessful. Anyone know of a plug-in like this?

One difference for point 2.. in Opera you can have the script load before or after page load.. (giving you the opportunity to overload page functions..) while in GreaseMonkey the script is always loaded afterwards..

Ian check out FEBE, I understand the pains of trying to backup firefox and is a plus for opera, I might get round to trying it again, but i like the way I have my firefox setup.

With FEBE you can backup an entire profile or single extensions.

Ian - yea, Firefox (and Thunderbird) are annoying if you want to transfer files from one installation to the next. Makes reformatting a pain. You can copy the whole %appdata% folder of Firefox to make it a similar installation.

Engtech - can you please explain what's wrong with this in firefox? It's working fine here. Maybe NoScript is blocking something?

The nice thing with it being all-included in Opera though is that you just take your profile directory (or even just opera.ini for a lot of it) with you, and you instantly have a brand new Opera install on a new PC fully configured exactly as you like it. With Firefox all the addons seem to have their own configuration, for instance NoScript's whitelist, that's another file you've got to remember to export and then take to the new PC. I have a bookmark list that allows me to quickly install all the Firefox addons I like but they are always unconfigured. I know you can do "Portable Firefox" but that's not always appropriate ... does anyone know an easy way to configure all one's addons, is there an addon to keep track of the addons!!!
